360,000 dogs were euthanized (a 64% increase from 2021)
Adoption rates were down 5%
3.2 million dogs entered the shelter (a 10% increase from 2021).
For the first time, dogs are the most euthanized shelter animal.
The purpose of the dog bowl challenge is to bring people together for the love of dogs.
It doesn’t matter if you have one or want ten or if you don’t have any dogs all.
What matters is remembering what unites us all— love.
And in this case, it’s for the love of dogs.
